Don Hyslop 7/1/2005
Well our Nation's 138
birthday celebrations have come to an end in Hantsport, Nova Scotia. Early this
morning I got into my car and drove the 50 minutes or so to get to where this
parade was to take place. Upon arrival, I was treated royally by the person who
had initiated this plan to put Red Sox fans from across the province on a float
to commemorate the Red Sox World Series victory as well as Canada's birthday. He
offered cool refreshments to all of us to put us in the mood for this event.
Soon upwards to 20 noted Red Sox fans from all over Nova Scotia had arrived and
we made our way to the parade's starting point.
